Lacquered

Lacquered

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Lacquered

Upon these nights indentured
to its end
we blur the minutes
and the linear perceptions
of hop-scotched hours bent
loses it weight as we
circumnavigate
each community of our skins

Lacquered

with licks and lips
nibbling each vineyard grape
Tuscan Country tomatoes
basked in italian wines
mosaics
"Divine" they call it

This sensuality
foreplay
how time leaps forward
when lost in a kiss
forgetting the rest
of the nymphs
in the starlight newly naked
night

Lacquered

I am a slave to this skin
as we collide
meteors
expressing supernovas
mastering how to swim
in heaven

lovingly

Lacquered

You are welcome...:)
Love this, it's like a beautiful bountiful melody lacquered...not sure which I like better

we blur the minutes
and the linear perceptions
of hop-scotched hours bent
loses it weight as we
circumnavigate
each community of our skins
or
Tuscan Country tomatoes
basked in italian wines
mosaics
Now, that's poetry to my ears!
