When I'm Gone

When I'm Gone

A Poem by Poetic Justice
"

Drug addiction has made me make bad choices. As a result I am facing multiple Felony charges, and prison time in two states.

"

Daddy won't be around for a while,
To catch you when you fall,
I die every second we're apart,
It's the hardest thing of all,

I wont be gone forever,
Those words are hard to say,
But Daddy made some stupid choices,
This is the price I have to pay,

I'd give up forever,
Just to see you're face,
I would trade my life right now,
For just one more embrace,

Im so sorry for the pain I caused,
Guess this is my fate,
I'll miss you when you go to prom,
And when you Graduate,

I'm very far from perfect,
But you're Daddy's love is true,
Don't worry about me I'll be fine,
You just focus on you,

Don't listen to the rumors,
Or the Hater's talkin trash,
Be the better person,
All of that will pass,

My addiction was just to strong,
Please learn from my mistakes,
The world is at your feet,
You have so much on you're plate,

I'm down not out,
I'm bent not broken,
Never let the words I love you,
Ever go unspoken,

I Love you Jordan, I love you Jayden.. Daddy is always with you... I Love you guys with All My Heart
