After all this time

And all you mean to me

For the first time I don't know where

Our friendship is going

You know that I love you

And I'd do anything for you

But it's been so long

I wonder if maybe you've just forgotten

All about me

And everything

We had

I really thought someday we could be something

Be so much more than friends

And all because you let me think

That after all the guys I've known, that you felt differently

That you (really) loved me

These are sometimes the hardest kind of relationships to have to deal with because you don't want to lose the friendship if things don't work but there are just feelings that won't be ignored. Here it sounds as if he might not feel the same way and that really sucks. Nicely done
