Transatlantic Sadness

Transatlantic Sadness

A Poem by Poetic Angel

Her lips taste like rain
Fixating
Her obsessions
imperfections
pressed against the window
feels like an endless ocean
Transatlantic
Sadness
deep in her
dilated pupils
Shattered
Prisms of pain
Rough edges
curves
Battered nerves
Lonely fingers slowly play
The piano keys of
Her ribcage
The dream within a dream
His voice
Calling out her name
The rhythm of her heartbeat
Shipwrecked messages in bottles
Spinning around in circles
Unsteady
Longing for safety
Strength of his arms
to silence
The
Sadness

Wow.. Very beautiful and so very well written..
All your lines are something else.
"The piano keys of/ Her ribcage"
This is absolutely a gorgeous painting of words and an array of romantic literature..
Phenomenal work, Poetic Angel.
