Unspeakable Scale

Unspeakable Scale

A Poem by Nancy A Halbert

Oh I know you hear me don't you.
As I slam myself once more
Aganst your wall
When do your lies evaporate
Into the bright light of truth
Where we could reach a peaceful
Resolution
Is this deception I wonder
As I raise my painful sift
With heartbroken hands
Sifting lies from truth
I put it down with knowledge
Sometimes the always heartless live.
