 What the Lord says

 I do

If it not popular

 What he presents for me to do

 Is what I’ll do

 Sometimes this is hard

 Sometimes it does

 Not agree with others

 Some say why

 Would he have you do that

 Or do you think

 He would have you

 To do that

 We know better

 But always always The Lord shows me

 Following his direction

 Is above all

 Turns for my good

 Even when it hurts

 To follow through

 With what he says

 The blessings come

 In the end

 When all is say and done

 He shows up

 Let’s me know

 My decision to obey him

 Is the only way

 To survive all the chaos

 This world brings

 It’s his heart

 I’m always seeking

  To do what pleases his heart

 Knowing when the storms Rage

It’s him that comes through

 Shining his love light

 Showering me with comfort and nurture

 To stand back up

  Helping me to submit

 To his will

 Touching my spirt

 Reaching to the depths of my soul

 Just to say

 Child just move

 Listen to me

 I know the way

You may not understand it

 Trust in me

 Cause the end of the day
