Ten Minutes

Ten Minutes

A Poem by Caroline
"

Convincing is not an easy task

"

Ten minutes

I give you ten minutes,
Now convince me how,
The importance of life,
Applies to me now.

If I were gone,
Would you really miss me?
Would you really mourn my death?
Would you accept the reality?
I know I haven’t.
But isn’t that why I ask you now.

Just ten minutes,
That’s all you have,
Come on,
Convince me,
That I truly belong.

I don’t want your sympathy,
I don’t want your tears,
I just want your words,
So full of your fears.

Don’t say what sounds right,
Don’t say what makes sense,
Just say what you feel,
If it’ll make any difference,
Well, I doubt it will.

It’s ten minutes you have,
To late,
It’s up,
And guess what,

I haven’t been convinced.

Wow, that's really good. :) It makes me feel like I have to say something to you in ten minutes... though, I don't really know what to say. Good job though, it's really good.

Don't worry too much about grammar. I have that problem too.
