There

There

A Poem by Leviathus Fortes

Blank
Like a canvas
Yet something's always there

Paints
Words and music
Stepping forth and then I share

Pictures
In my mind
Of a place we all should be

Epitome
Of revelation
A joyous place where we are free

Light
Found in the distance
Follow it, both you and I?

Heart
Be so persistent
Are we dead or alive?

Reach
This destination
The resting place, as it is known

No
More aimless wondering
When once there, we are at home
