The Chasm

This one i one i wrote in late 2010 and has had impacted a good number of people who have heard it, hope you all can feel the same.

In everyone’s lives

There’s a chasm to overcome

A pit of temptation and darkness

Filled with spikes of sin

Which we all must traverse

On the path God created

Each path unique

Each outcome the same

That is if we do not stray

And fall victim to sin

Those piercing spikes of iron

Each poisoned with temptation

Luring the weak to their death

But stay strong in faith

And let us meet in heaven

At those glorious gates
