To Love A Writer

To love a writer is to know

they will see more beauty in you

than you deserve.

They'll remember in exact detail

your eyes,

your smile,

your laugh.

A writer will paint a picture with words,

words you'll never hear spoken.

A writer will live in those worded memories

long after you've forgotten,

like a framed photo

capturing more than an image.

To love a writer is to know

you will inevitably break their heart

And they'll survive.

True words you do use to express your heart. Yes, a writer speaks well even through what he jots down. He fights well through words, he loves the world as well as hates its wickedness to death through words. You portray a very beautiful imagery of writer's life through poetry. Enjoyed reading it.

You're welcome. Yes, I do agree with you.. would like to add few lines that "hate" and 'love" / "love" and "hate" both beloved by people. However, people beloved by the world because, they created the world so yes, if they love you, they hate you / they hate you, yes, they love you. You really create.. or display bunches of things 'bout "love" through your poetic art. Enjoyed your work.
