Fly away

Fly away

A Poem by KaylaMarie

There is a warm summer breeze tonight
With only the moon shining bright
I wander into the woods barefoot
The breeze is picking up as I start to swirl around
I fall down
-Silence-
Looking up into the sky, I spot an owl
I feel a tingle of happiness throughout
Warm, soft breeze flows through my hair
As I sit on the plush ground without a care
As the owl is flying away
There go my worries doubts and fears
They are no longer here to stay
I say goodbye as they fly away
I get up and start running
Lifting my hands in the air, saying a prayer
As I stare into these dim lit woods
Breeze flowing all over my body
Speaking ever so softly into my ear
Saying come and fly away with me my dear
I am swept off my feet as the wind becomes
my wings and sings a sweet lullaby
There is a warm summer breeze tonight
With only the moon shining bright
