Where Have You Gone Peter Rabbit

Where Have You Gone Peter Rabbit

A Story by Tom Friel

Where have you gone Peter Rabbit
Have you hopped into some hole?
Is it now really true
The Peter I once knew
Has grown soft and prickly old?

Where have you gone Jiminy Cricket?
I miss your chirps at night
Beneath stars and moon
Your chirping tunes
They made me feel so right

Where have you gone my Little Boy Blue?
Are you somewhere fast asleep?
Are your nights filled with dreams?
Or like mine a steady stream
Such is the life with the bladder I keep

Those were the times to diddle diddle
How I miss the Cat and his Fiddle
More and more my life's just a riddle
Here again I piddle piddle
An overgrown kid now in the middle
