Home

There are needs and
there are wants.
At times I want,
a backyard of flowers
with acres full of corn,
upon fertile ground.
All on one canvas,
bringing to life
everything,
called "Home".
An image as alive
as a warm summer day,
awakening my senses.
One I can return to
whenever I should want.
An image worth more
than a thousand words.
An image as vast
as a thousand acres.
An image I still need.

I particularly like that part, because it has such vivid imagery, and I can really feel the longing and want for a home. If there is anything that I can say to criticize this, it's that I would have preferred that you have some punctuation in there, maybe some periods or commas to really just give it a slightly cleaner and a little bit more broken up look. All in all this poem is wonderfully done, and has some amazing imagery and emotion to it that is notoriously hard to capture. Good job.
