Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror

A Poem by Tom Friel

Virtual images
Virtually the same size
Both share
Venal imperfections
Both being
Virtually indiscernable
From each other

Vividly lifelike
Both faded daily
From light to night
Heightening fears
Of how delicately fragile
And positively breakable
They both really are
