Failure

Failure

A Poem by Noir Crescent
"

A example of failure and abuse

"

Father to belt,
Boy, who soon felt
The first hit,
The second hit
Upon the ebony
As the fall of the knee.

Harsh words,
Frightened birds,
As to the ninety-nine
That became mine
As hit left
Like lobsters by a chef.

Under the golden roof,
Pain was not proof
As abuse
Was simply well of use
To when smiles
Were present, falsely, for miles.
