I breathe the fragrance of the night

I sleep and my heart stays awake

It loves the stars the whole night through

The sky, helm and chapel to my soul

Water blossoms only mirror what is there

The cosmos, a feast of Angels and little owls

With more intelligence & compassion

Than I can imagine, I breathe the future

Half in the earth and half in the water

Dreaming of the wood’s ancient nerves

Of the world-soul all connected

I breathe the life in between sleep and awake

It is a place of sensual archetypes

A rhythm of longing, and music of peace
