Lucid Keeper

Lucid Keeper

A Poem by Provemorumjay
"

A sonnet detailing the lesson of how every person is the ruler of their brains; they are in control of their thoughts.

"
Secret woodlands live in human persons,
behind their faces and above their throats;
Hectares of fertile soil topped by burdens:
grotesque, gorgeous, flora flourish, remote.

Explore the savage terrain of my mind,
and find the fleshless beasts, ready to pounce:
ghastly horrors of my head's own design;
their vile presence I publicly denounce.

This dense wilderness, shrouded in thick mist--
I am its sole savior, its sole keeper;
My will alone can cause it to desist,
from scarring my poor soul any deeper.

In order for solace to reign supreme,
Be the master of which comes from your dreams.
