Oh such gossip mongers you are

Oh such gossip mongers you are

A Poem by Prynka

Oh such gossip mongers you are

why don't you bother your own business

in spite of breaking all my ties

you still google me out

I am your hot topic for hangouts

You judge me and criticize me

For all your skype and facetime talks

you have so much more to discuss

Oh can you tell me which search tool you use?

let me as well find about me

or who is the source for all the info you get

let me add more substance

Oh such losers you are

to all your giggle and laugh sessions

to portray how childhood friends are for lifetime

you talk about me

Oh such hypocrites you are

if you had so much time to discuss

why dint you ever connect with me?

a single message or a single hi

would soothe me

for I am self-made

I wasn't lucky to have strong shoulders to lean upon

or the luxury to show off

my vulnerability was used  - unlike yours

this has made me even better

I never chose to give up

I rose for a better tomorrow

your happy faces

never made me envious

for I always wished good spirits for you

I still do

Please do find yourselves a better job

talk about the upcoming  trends

or something useful

rather than just gossiping

if you find anyone in trouble or misery

lend your ear to them

let them relieve their burdened heart

or simply be there to cheer them up

wish you a better prospect in life

for real laughs are the ones when your heart laughs

when your deed is good

when you help or support someone.

In this digital age, we often see a conflict in the genuine and the leaches. I like this sort of honest writing, kind of like a gasp of fresh air, calling out the bullshit. The message towards the end is refreshing and speaks volumes of how sometimes a simple hello or smile is worth more than a 1000 likes or follows.

Thank you Nisha for dropping by and for a positive feedback:)
This is a superb straight-to-the-point message, admonishing gossiping others! My favorite part is the way you use a ton of true-to-life examples and your tone sounds a little playful, not just harsh & admonishing. I love the way you give suggestions at the end, describing a better way to spend one’s time. I love that you do not lower yourself to the bad talk that others might offer -- instead, you give these gossipers the benefit of the doubt & treat them with humanity. This is a great lesson, not only for the gossipers, but also for those who feel hurt by them – I love the way you show how to just let it roll off your back! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

A poem full of exhaustions came out which happened because of the unnecessary gossiping reaching and already crossed the limits.....!
But if feels good when u tell them straight.....
I've heard a quote somewhere...."AwesoMe ends with Me and Ugly starts with U" it means throughout all the narrow u think of mine I m great the whole way I am!!
It was splendid job Prynka di😊
