Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

For Jade.

"
We lament on things left unsaid
now that your time with us is over
We can only regret what could have been
for all our tears will not bring you back
only a memory will remain
forever and always

Now you've found out where the planets grow
where your heart resides
there you will find your true happiness

These days get darker as we get older
we were always there for you to lean on
But you had to leave and silently you did
and we could only call your name in vain
we knew you would never return
as the nights stretch on.. we can only ask 'why'?

Now you've found out where the planets grow
where your soul resides
you will find your new beginning

All I can say are the antiquated words
hoping for a view into your world
but you held your darkness within
I never had the chance to try
and neither did anyone else
I hope the wonderland you now call home
has lead you to true peace

Awesome dear
I got emotional because it reminds me of one of the honest guy i have ever seen. IMO, the best guy who remained with me for a short span and left his footprints. I have tried a lot to reach to him afterwards, but didn't get a clue. Rite now only surviving with memories. God bless wherever he is :)
Nice job. loved it

"Now you've found out where the planets grow" now there is a line I am jealous of! Wish I had written that.

The idea of beholding the secrets of the universe on this last journey moved me deeply. We are but imprints in the endless sky.

"Now you've found out where the planets grow

This was a really touching write, it was written with so much honesty and it reads like it's something personal to you, something dear and close to your heart. You have some stunning lines in there. (: Amazing.

An exceptional, eulogistic and reflective prose.

"Now you've found out where the planets grow"-- what shockingly emotional line. Absolutely lovely.

This seems very personal and emotional. You have written into creation something that really touched me in the reading. "All I can say are the antiquated words"--another great line, which seems to sum up the feeling I have about this piece...words are trite, so I shall leave only my praise.

If she could read this now...she'd have the biggest smile on her face, and there'd be a tear in her eye.
This is a wonderful way to say goodbye

I'd give this poem up in a second to have her back. It's all I could do.

Heaven knows, just about everyone who knew her would do anything to get her back.
