dreams

dreams

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

shoegaze poetry

"
i will never be so lucky
no angel like you will wander
into my little nightmare land ever again
but you're already passing
i'm a little blur
as your eyes look for more elegance

where my dreams go to die
i am sure that's where you reside
i want to be there with you
as the moon sets into the lake
framing me in blue
you shone white as you lit up my soul

i wish i could bathe in the springs
in the wonderland i see
whenever i think of you

but i'll never see you again
you're long gone and
you never even knew
how much i cared
you're the angel that passed me by
a faint happiness i'll never feel again

Lucrecia took the words right out of my mouth....or fingertips?
Anyways, another masterpiece Elliott. I enjoyed as always.
