Honey on a Razors Edge

Honey on a Razors Edge

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

Dripping blood from an Angels kiss

"
Dripping honey from the razors edge
Sometimes the best of friends will be
in each others shadow
A kiss sent to the Heavens
Hope it reaches you
before we part on bad terms

Then we say goodbye
Then we say goodbye
Farewell

Dripping blood from an Angels kiss
Sometimes we want to be lost
so we can be found
What remains when all is gone
Maybe we can discuss this
as the clouds swell and break

I like this, especially the middle stanza. It just seems to put more feeling into the poem.
"Then we say goodbye
Then we say goodbye
Farewell"

Full of melancholy but expresses the love of friendship in a way. Such an awe-inspiring write. Magnificent my friend. Your writing touches my heart and gives me small pieces of hope. Sometimes happiness. Thank you.

Depressing yet so fervent and strong. The imagery is strong on this one, and it's got me craving for more.
