Somehow

Somehow

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

You paint the everlasting in shades of my deepest moods

"
Close my eyes, await my dreams
I wish I could be in love now
You paint the everlasting
in shades of my deepest moods
Always neglecting that I
never usually smile

I'm a lost jigsaw and so
nothing ever fits in my life
Sealed away in the debris
I'm wasting time on my ennui
Maybe soon I can be happy
with the little things

Close my eyes, await my dreams
I wish I could be in love now
You paint and somehow I
am inspired though a little sad
Always neglecting that I
love to see your smile

Your verse is always so effortless and graceful. This piece is no different.

Ohhhhh I love this one!

You know I am a sucker for writes like this...
it's the melancholy undertones that peer through blues eyes...(sigh)...

Bittersweet, and beautiful!~xoxo~:)
