Stop Looking

Stop Looking

You don’t look at me

The way you look at her.

I’m your shadow

Lingering over you.

Only to be revealed when the moon is bright

And the night is dark.

You don’t look at me

The way you look at her.

I’m your secret.

Whispering to you;

Telling you,

How much I care.

You don’t look at me

The way you look at her.

I’m your satisfaction.

Giving you the

Clarification

You are with the right person.

You don’t look at me

The way you look at her.

I’m your toy.

Speaking to me

Like a child who is

Naïve as a rose-cheeked doll.

You don’t look at me

The way you look at her.

So why do you continue,

Looking at me?

As if

I have any place in your world.

Any feedback is awesome. I'm extremely amateur-leveled in the poetic category I just write them when I feel stressed.
