Your Love

Your Love

A Poem by Pussman

Your love is a tree,

It branches away,

How foolish of me

To think it might stay.

But now I can see

I was just more prey

On your boyfriend spree,

For you to betray.

But you’ll disagree,

I know what you’ll say,

You’ll tell me that we

Started out okay,

But it’s time to be

Going our own way,

You’ll pretend that thee

Didn’t cause me dismay,

You’ll leave out that he

Caused your heart to sway,

And got on one knee,

You’ll throw the bouquet.

Well now you are free,

I don’t have all day,

Don’t give me your plea,

Just please go away.

I know the feeling of having been hurt and played a fool, and it's not a good one. I loved the first four lines of your poem, and the rhyme was good too. The commas were a bit off, though, since you put one in every line, and it affects the flow of the poem; but the poem was nice in general. I found it very cute.:) Good job.:)
