"Desperate Hourglass"

This is a poem dedicated to my girlfriend, Chelsea Marie Schermerhorn. We are in a long distance relationship and will be meeting exactly in a week for the very first time in our lives.

 

 

 

 

Days come as they pass

Time seems to be getting slower

I'm longing for her...

Just to hold her hand

Just wanting to hug her.

 

The time has now come...

After so long...

My heart jumps in haste

Wanting to see her...

Wanting to feel her...

 

Our patience will be rewarded

When our lips touch one another

And the butterflies ignite in our stomachs

As she smiles...

And the tears roll down her cheek...

The only thing I can say is.....

Baby.....

I love you, dont let go
