Remedy

A Poem by QuayvonS

Keep me in the palm of your hand.

Let me reside and blossom in the comfort to be held.

Sanctuary.

Allow me to bask in its warmth, to suffocate as you squeeze tighter.

Grip me the way the Evergreens roots intertwine around the earth.

Warmth.

Force me to bathe in the sweat of your palm, the holiest of water.

Secrete the melted memories so I may slip into the crevices of your nostalgia.

Cleanse.

Hold me back from leaping over the edge, sit me down and let my legs dangle over the trials that came.

Break these rusted rattling shackles crafted upon myself, set my solicitude free.

Release.

A deep internal realization and epiphany. I love how this stays intact with the spirit and soul of ones self, grounding with consciousness and homeostasis
