Question in the crowd

Question in the crowd

A Poem by Sulaimon Quadri
"

The poem question in the crowd is poem that speak about the challenges we face in our society, about our daily life and leaders who are supposed to be answerable to the people yet turn deaf ears them.

"
In the mammoth crowd I stand waiting for my voice to be heard
For my face to be seen, and my struggle be adjudged
Sitting in the shallow current of a dreaded sea
Bewitched by my flare for justice ans equity
How would I posit my point,
What would be my reference,
Who would be my umpire
As all man have eaten from the fruit of Adam forbidden for all by the most high God
I am not really taken seriously as they all call me a clown
I am in the center of all seeking for the best life for my society
In the mammoth crowd I wail for the world to hear my plea, feel my agony
For all to see our suffering and not just call us a liar lying to seek for attention
Lying to seek for favor.
We are hunted down by sheer stupidity and ignorance they placed us into.
How do I convince the globe to hear my yearning in the midst of multitude crowd
How I wish I was taught by the Avicenna,Archimedes and Alchemy of this world
Probably o won't be in this situation of  shattered faith and dreams
In the mammoth crowd I speaks to the princes and princesses to hear their people and take home as a message to their parental nobles to,
Hear of their social ill
Hear of their economic vices
Hear of their lack of home and shelter
Hear of their illiteracy caused by their noble parent that govern them all.
