What is it you see? In yourself, in others.. Sometimes you see good. And other times you see things that others might not see..

Is there something you all see

That I can not seem to see?

You see this girl that is sweet

Beautiful and pretty

Responsible and smart

But why is it all I see is

A girl that is broken

Beautiful disaster and terrified

Irresponsible and stupid..

Broken because of the past

A beautiful disaster because I break

Terrified to let someone in..

Irresponsible because of debt

Stupid because of my mistakes

Is there something you all see

That I can not seem to see?…

I see someone who hopes, but lingers on the present

I see someone who lives, but sometimes doesn't know what the point is.

I see someone who laughs, but often to hide her true feelings

I see someone who can be great, though they are already a wonderful person

I see someone who puts everyone else in this world before herself, even if it means giving other things up

I see you, Kylie. I see through that smile to the core of what no one else can see, and I love every inch of you for who you are and everything you will become...

Open your eyes, love and you will see all of the wonderful things that other people who know you see. Give yourself the worth that you deserve. If you are truly a giving, caring person about other people then you are a treasure and the world needs more like you. I, too, give more than I should, sometimes to the detriment of myself. But, I would rather be that kind of person than the one who takes all that others will give until they sap them dry. Keep giving and loving. THat is what God would want you to do. It doesn't matter about anyone else. It breaks my heart that you cannot see your own worth and value as a human being. I hope you will SEE.

This is quite thought-provoking. To hear what another thinks of you, because you cannot seem to see yourself clearly. Sadly, the most wonderful people in the world often don't see how special they are. They always strive to be better instead of enjoying the moment. I hope your friend's vision helps!
