Disappear

You broke my heart, once again

You’ve done it so many times
I have lost count

You disappear from me

I really don’t know why

One day you’re here with me

The next few months your not

Then you come back

Just to get my heart to race

Then tear it all apart by leaving

I think about how much I love you

And it really gets me down

Because we could of had something great

But then again, everything you’ve done

Makes me hate you so much

I’ve dealt with the hurt on my own

Living day by day with a broken heart

But hiding it away so no one will see

It’s the only thing I’m best at

I’ve kept myself busy

So I don’t break into pieces

If I didn’t, I would have

So I’m glad you’ve disappeared

Because the next time you come back

I will be stronger and tell you to go away

And to never speak or contact me again

It will be the best feeling in the world

But will I be able to, to the person I love?…

A very intriguing piece you wrote
Interesting how someone could hurt you so much and yet you still feel love for that same one ... yet how right you are for being strong and wanting that guy out of your life - good for you ... NoOne should take that crap from NoOne !!!
It might be something a bit hard to do but oh it IS worth it (and it's the right thing to do)

Damn love leave us hurt and always some hope. I like this poem. I like the feel of hit the road and please stay away. Then the question of some small hope. Better to run and not look back. A outstanding poem.
