Just Like Me

 

I’m like the wind

I don’t know where

Its drifting me

Up, down, side to side

I never know

Its different every day

 

My head is the rain

And its flooding

With thoughts

I can’t ever just

Make it stop

I wish I had a switch

 

My heart is the cloud

Always fluffy,

Welcoming, moving

Anyone can fly into it

As long as they know

How to treat it

 

The sun is my mood

Always shining bright

Never know when

It will show itself

Hot, warm, or pleasant

You won’t know till you see

 

These mountains I’m climbing

The wind, rain, clouds, or sun

Won’t slow me down

Its only making me stronger

Each step I take

It’s a brand new beginning
