Fading

Fading

A Poem by Quiettlove
"

Replacement

"

has my love faded
for once and for all
flowers and sun rays
beaming eyes and smiles
how my heart would explode
with feelings of love
looks that would melt my heart
laughter
that would cheer me up
only now make my heart pound faster
no opening
no flowing
something lingers
keeps my heart closed
strong bars motionless
a taste of sadness
its remnants
no getting rid of
it sticks
hard to swallow
choking

has my love faded
surrounded by beauty
appreciation made room for jealousy
adoration replaced by envy
inferiority took over equality
floating on waves
in the sea of life
now drowning

has my love faded
contentment acting greedy
encouragement becoming pressure
good needing excellence
in this world of starring
now extinguishing

fading
