Roses are red, and violets are blue.

Once upon a rose so red,

Beside a violet sky blue,

Your love to me has said,

It won’t diminish untrue.

I can’t wait to see ahead,

Endearing love from you.

 

Once upon a rose so red,

Beside a violet sky blue,

I’m glad to let you lead,

If you love me deep too.

 

Once upon a rose so red,

Beside a violet sky blue,

My angel adorned in red,

Styles me love and virtue.

 

Once upon a rose so red,

Beside a violet sky blue,

An uneven plain is tread,

Freely we naively pursue.

 

Once upon a rose withers,

Beside a violet has faded,

We’re love that shimmers,

Pledging our life’s elated.

 

Once upon a rose expired,

Beside a violet deceased,

We are the love I admired,

Lovingly we’ve unleashed.

 

Once upon a rose of dust,

Beside a violet once great,

In our heart’s we’ll entrust,

The love path we’ll ornate.

 

Once upon a rose passion,

Beside a violet so modest,

Purely awaiting our action,

Urges infinite love abreast.
