I’ll just lie here

and think,

remember,

and reminisce

about everything that has happened

that brought me here.

This is when... as you're kicked back, musing upon the past.... you are startled by a glowing pool of bluish light that suddenly appears hanging in the air at the foot of your bed. Then the next thing you know, your bed gives an evil chuckle and flips you through the pool of light and you end up in some other dimension.
Yes... those dang memories are important in making us who we are... but it's still fun to see where in the what if the imagination can go! ;)

I read somewhere that we actually need to do this process in order to move the memories from our short-term memory into the longer-term memory. I don't spend enough time reflecting like this and it is probably why I have such poor memories.
This is like a wise instruction manual for how to make memories last so they can keep us warm later

I really enjoyed this short poem!

I feel as though many people can relate to this. I often find myself reliving moments that resulted in a particular situation over and over again. I find that even our smallest of actions can result in a life-changing situation- whether it be meeting a special/important person or something of the sort.
