First day

First day

A Poem by Gravity

First day we met, words spoken through cold breaths
Falling degrees broke all the barrier and gates
The warmth of her touch was too much to ask for
Even our eyes couldn't meet to speak up the unsaid
Storms took a break, and the nature seemed too sweet
But if all the pieces in place, this puzzle still ain't complete
Does greetings and formal meets, convey what heart conceals?
Constellations hard to see unless the bright stars ain't discrete
Imperfection was her beauty, if perfection led to God
I wanted her for myself but there were fault in our stars
The moon blessed the night while I was the daylight
Clocks ticked by, I found it hard to realise
I was fighting my black demons when it turned into twilight
Riding the horse high, I came to stumble halt
The ground felt so hard, I could taste my tear's
salt
Silence was my weapon, more lethal than legal weed
I never said I loved you coz I felt you as a need!
