Behind the words indeed. I really enjoyed the flow of this piece, which looks beyond the words and what they say about us. No matter the words, we only see an imprint of the person behind them, when they are infinitely more than the brief moments we feel your words.
I think we have grown so used to instant gratification, that it is almost impossible for anyone to have time to see what is behind the pen.
Pity really. We never learn.
Beautifully penned, thought provoking write.

This also reminds me of Leonard Cohen---
"and from his lips, he shouted "Hallelujah".
Your poetry takes us where earthly cares are
clouds that dissipate in the early morning rain.
truly, a daily prayer. Pat

dear Light... your pen is dipped in passion
where moments of eternal love have found
a bed of parchment to express undying love and affection.
The aire of February brings scents of love's repose when
heaven knows a Rose is given to place on the pages of
your beloved. truly, Pat

Beauuutiful... for sure, Your heart sings poetry my lovely Patricia 🌷
I've not read anything this moving in a long time. I find so much genuine humility and love in this poem. But this echoes softly long after reading...
Love
isn't in the beauty of my words
but Love is,
in the thumps taking the lead
of my heart, unto Yours
What I read here is the essence of love, sharing the good and the bad, the dark and the light, the smiles and the tears, as one body and heart.
An exceptional work that it beautifully illustrated.

thank you for the enlightenment of your luminosity... so strong are these lines from your heart they shimmer off the screen and into mine as I read them. No finer a result can come from any writing than that. I can say nothing clever or witty about them I cant even speak of the mechanics or style this is just simply a lovely set of lines

mwahvelous education i have received in just the title Light!... thank you!! i had not idea there was such a movement way back when to define and use "perceptive grammar" ... where oh where do you go on your days off ;)))))))))))))))) love this:
'Im sprinkling like
the calm raindrops." .."my faithful entity" ... interesting word choice (entity) my friend .. the setting is intimate but is distant as well ...really like the "....reserve of love" ... so uplifting in what can be a difficult world .. we can "hang in there" ... we can "stand it" ;) i think there is so much great stuff in your poem ...religion, spirituality, philosophy .."..I'm a thought" ..aint it the truth! a simple and profound acceptance ... i only imagine how much has been written on consciousness .. and where it comes from .. and then the poetess speaks ...abstract is always risky .. dances between too much and not understandable at all ... and not enough to where intent is clearly defined and does not allow one to imagine more ... and of course i really like how you close it all up with our oneness .. in love itself .. and how it is not only possible but a reality ... read this several times ... each time a nugget leaped at me ... very stimulating, thought provoking poem says i!

Your poem is incredibly lyrical & heartfelt, like a melody for one's divine leader. The part of your message that appeals to me is toward the beginning, as you describe "surrender" in terms that could be about leaving this planet in the flesh . . . or it could be about learning to let go of the earthly drudgery that gets us all down from time to time & learning to soar above it all. My only slight dip in interest came during the last stanza . . . I'm not a big fan of generalized love expressions in poetry, so I sorta drifted off at that point, where your message felt a teensy bit less fresh & inventive (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
I've to say....This kind of poetry is one of my faves! Smooth, coaxing, love filled and always provides an amazing read...
The thing I love the most here is you were not lost in imagination but sticking at realism...thanks for this wonderful read dear Light angel! **Love and hugs** ♡♡

When you talk about love lock stock and barrel, these words would be just that. "How many verses are there to love You", I would guess that would be as many as it takes to describe every grain of sand in the ocean and on the beaches until one grows tired. Full of emotion and romance...loved it!
