Authentic Love

Authentic Love

A Poem by RWR

Authentic  Love

Many fine men,

Mere men nonetheless, have written

Lofty and profound insight

Countless books about love and sickness

The healthy and the pathological

Obsession versus real connection

~~~~~~~
Revelations, thoughts, addresses, and books,
Surely, all quite true,
Wonderfully curative, while
inexorably contradictory
Fundamentally God-like
 Central and simple human action
Exceeding the capacity of the mind, heart, or
any singular experience of any one of us
~~~~~~~

The weaving together of two vines

Molding, modeling, and perfect pressure, on

 just the right miscellany of elements

Touch of light and heat and breath

makes the imperfect  two into a perfect one

‘…and the Lord God said, “it is not good that the man should be alone”’

~~~~~~~
Omniscient intention
Perfect mind with infallible hands
Words that become worlds
The Master expresses this seemingly new thing, that
 has been wandering within the ceaseless length and breadth of Him forever
Perfection of a soul through incomprehensible math and music of permutation
Flawless and linear presents as erratic and passionately volatile correction
Two paths which are, in truth, a singular journey through timeless and unfathomable parameters
~~~~~~~

 “I need you”

 “I can’t live without you”

“I have waited the single moment of my entire life”

Begin to articulate, the

 Blissful and divine expression:  the

Terrible and healing truth that is real Love
