Whiteout

Whiteout

A Poem by Rac7hel
"

Sort of a sequel to "Morning Meditation", but not necessarily

"
The light aligns itself so slightly
Blinding waves in lines toward my eyes.
The longer I'm allowed to look,
The lighter weighs my heart where it resides.
I love the light. I long for greater.
Closer, brighter...
Maybe later.
Fallen lightly out of favor.
Wait for now and close my fiery eyes.
Lie in shade and gaze toward the skies.
