Autobiography of Lucifer

Autobiography of Lucifer

A Poem by Satan's Daughter

I am humbled,
Forced to traverse this world crawling on my stomach
Where I was once blameless in my ways,
Now I am cast to the ground.
Thrown from my home, my family,
All for the sake of loving my father more
Than those he had created.
How was I supposed to love these weak, flawed creatures?
Their fragility and incompetence was nothing
Compared to the great wisdom and encompassing love
Of dear old dad

But that was long ago,
A lifetime since forgotten.
So send me your sinners
Your broken, your damned
I will amass an army
Of those you cast away,
Much as you did to me
They will join me in my holy crusade
To rain justice and fire from the skies
Because if I can't reach heaven,
I will raise hell.
