Fears of the smallest

Fears of the smallest

A Poem by Rachel

A scream in the night

A touch of fright

and small huddle against my chest.

A storm in the night

Gave a bit of fright

to my dearest, my smallest.

Only one night

One night of fright

and a story told by the best.

Early morning light

No more night

Just the remnants of the storm.

But next time's a new night,

Next time a new fright

But still from fear will the young be torn.

With a story and a light,

And a little less night,

Just a new frame of mind being born.

Lol! This is really cute. ^^ It's seriously got an awesome rhyming pattern going! :D The content is also pretty good: Gotta love a thunderstorm-- too bad it frightens the little ones. :(

Great work! :)
