Coming in Going

Coming in Going

A Poem by Rachel
"

Written in Senior English Composition when I should have been reading the Odyssey.

"

In fresh granduer,

I find myself spinning,

Not knowing where I'm going

never stopping to wonder

I keep going

If I wander

You'll find yourself winning

Not knowing where I came from

never stopping to wonder

If I'm staying

When I wonder

I find myself grinning

Not caring where I came from

never stopping to wonder

If I'm going

Now I ponder

I find the ties thinning

I know just where I came from

I never stop to wonder

I'm just staying.
