The Internet is a dangerous placeA Poem by Rachelrichard16
They say never trust the Internet.
But we disregard the warnings. We check off the 18 or older boxes as young as 14 There's a reason behind that, That's so you don't end up like me. Sitting in a basement, locked away Away from view. His profile read sensitive, sweet, loving and kind. But he was a vicious, cold hearted, kidnapper. But how was I supposed to know? I could get over looks, and how he lied. But I couldn't get through the locks he had attached to the basement door He took me to lunch, and then to his house. I could have left the café but now I'm stuck I'm stuck sitting in the basement of his household for the sake of love. The concrete floors, cold to the touch Just like his frozen heart. He had no respect for women, he couldn't get his own. So now I'm just a rag doll. Scared and alone. © 2015 Rachelrichard16Author's Note
