Hurt

Hurt

A Poem by Emily Michael

Do You realize the hurt you're giving,
To me and me alone?
You've broken my heart
In so many pieces.
I can't explain my feelings,
I can't explain the pain.
So do you realize the hurt you're giving,
To me and me alone?
I've loved you once,
Now I've loved you twice.
Convincing myself that you were right.
I thought you were my soul mate,
With every inch of bone.
Do you realize the hurt you're giving,
To me and me alone?
I love you again...
Third time's the charm they say.
But without you by my side,
Can I survive another day?
I can't explain my feelings,
This pain demands to be felt.
Do you know the hurt that you've given,
cannot and will never be helped.
