Morning Tanka

Morning Tanka

A Poem by Rainbowco
"

English Tanka

"

I am alone
How cool  the dawn
The cricket’s song
Good luck promises
Soon to arrive

Softly Light travels
Leaf to leaf
Falling to the ground
Without sound
The eyes listen

Gray brown wrens
Perch on the line
Acrobat greetings
Given with chirps
Wings spread, they fly

Softly at first
The household stirs
Whisperings and shuffles
The heart listens
I am not alone
