Something great has now begun

A poem on 'Love at first sight.'

Ending the search of my wandering eyes
Land they did, on you, clear and nice
Image of yours, conquered my mind
Thoughts confirming my heart's find

You sowed the seeds of love
Beneath my dappled sun
I watered it singing-
Something great has now begun

Since then, I see you everywhere
Your illusions have seen my soul bare
Whatever I start, ends with your
thoughts, either early or late hour

Submerging myself in you
Emerged new dreams, in a queue
In my tiny heart, the size of my fist
There raised a shrine of my eyes' cheer mist

It soars up, reaching great heights
of the skies, from my dreamy nights
In it, you reign over my eager heart
Casting my mind as a piece of your art

Your ever bright face
As an idol never replaced
In my heart's shrine
I have it permanently placed

I shall await your affection forever
Like the urge to unite its sea, by a river
Like the thirsty land for first shower
Like the sail for safety light of its tower
