Just Because

Just Because

A Poem by Ran

Why do you want to love someone

Just because I love you,
it doesn't mean that I won't leave someday...
Just because I love you,
it doesn't mean that I'll be by your side forever.
Just because I love you,
we're shedding these tears that are not worth all our brief life
Just because I love you,
we're feeling all this painful unspeakable understanding,

Just because I dreamed of the end,
didn't mean I don't want to be this way longer
Just because you're here,
I'm praying for an everlasting life
We are too broken to be on our own
And because you hold me together
Please be here till this breath ends

And when it's over,
soar into the sky ;
open the heaven's door for me
run through the open ground;
walk the footsteps of yesterday for me
live free
all because you want to
and this end will be a time I want to repeat
over and over again
Until we meet again,
forget me and tomorrow
you happiness is now and no other
