Juvenile Adult

Juvenile Adult

A Poem by Randy Johnson
"

THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

"

You got mad when you heard the tantrum of a child.

But the way you reacted was every bit as juvenile.

He was screaming at his mom and you got angry at her son.

But you're the adult, you should've acted like one.

The child wanted an apple pie so you ordered every pie that the restaurant had.

You did it so the child couldn't have a pie but getting even with him was bad.

You're supposed to be a mature adult but that wasn't how you chose to act.

Getting even with that little boy wasn't the proper way for an adult to react.

You got extremely angry because that child was being a spoiled brat.

But you were every bit as juvenile and you shouldn't have been like that.
