Stolen Toys

Stolen Toys

A Poem by Randy Johnson
"

THIS IS A FICTIONAL POEM.

"

Last night I stole a lot of toys.

I did it to bring my kids joy.

When my kids faces lit up this morning, it made me feel good.

But when it comes to stealing, it's something that people never should.

I managed to steal the toys from the toy store.

I did it because I'm out of work and I'm dirt poor.

I've decided to go to the Police Station and turn myself in.

I stole to make my children happy but I'll never do it again.
