Pain

Pain

A Poem by Robert A. Pacheco
"

Sometimes pain catches you off guard, and you just have to live with it.

"

Pain

Silently twisted deep withing my head,

Perfect silence as I lay upon my bed.

Thoughts scrambling through and through

Tears form, as I ask my self "What can I do?

 Cold fingers grip my throat

Dizzyness, pain, cause me to float.

 Staying up all night,

Fighting with all of my might.

Yet still I have to give in,

Falling into a dark dim,

Suffering is part of life,

But it's digging into me like a knife.

Pain streaks accross my face,

My heart slowly picks up it's pace,

Hiding under blanet piles,

Sweat drips off my forehead, as if I just ran miles.

Who knew such pain could exist?

Suddenly darkness covers me, and pain turns to bliss.

Author's Note

Robert A. Pacheco
My muse is a Migrane of which I am unfortunately having at this very moment. You'll see symptoms that I'm having. Then, of corse, at the end, I'll eventually sleep it off, and it'll go away in the morning.

Ah, well, it makes for pretty good poetry.
I do hate migraines.
They are awful...
