Tattooed Soul

You scream, but no one hears you
You plea, but no one cares
Your cries all go unnoticed
Even though they're there

Your words, though they are spoken
Float listless in the air
Your brain, it begs your legs to run
Your legs, they wouldn't dare

Every body part defies you
As your soul is stripped and bare
Your thoughts, they flee beyond
To keep you unaware

But when the monster's had his fill
And leaves this soured lair
Left tattooed upon your soul
Is the hell that you did share.
