Rose of Jerycho

Rose of Jerycho

A Poem by RattyAdalan
"

Hi everyone! After long break I have for you my lyrics Rose of Jerycho. I hope someday I will compose music for this lyrics. Have a nice reading!

"
Rose of Jerycho

1.
Tell me why you cause that your life
becomes like a desert full of stones.
Why are you crying from the pain
instead of to shake down sand?
My sandy boy,
your tears never will fertilize the new way.

Chorus
Don’t be afraid.
Do you remember that meeting,
She was ruffle,
pretended that withered.
Pure Jerycho
carrying burden of the mask.

2.
Why do you fear for every step,
Being stronger than desert crystals.
My sandy boy
take your hat and listen
into the voice of Levant behind the horizon
that whispers about (un)known.

Chorus
Don’t be afraid.
Do you remember that meeting,
She was ruffle,
pretended that withered.
Pure Jerycho
carrying burden of mask.

3.
Even if doesn’t rain,
find it in yourself.
Feel, how the old land crumbles under the feet.
Like Pure Jerycho... x2

Follow with the voice of Levant...

Chorus
Don't be afraid... (...)

the "sandy boy" dry tears.

i really like this---parts of the first two lines might be worked just to get a smoother rhythm for when they are put to music...

but an interesting piece---the rain within us...even if we don't cry outwardly....we do inwardly.

and it's really okay.
